Thokozani learnt how to bead when she was fourteen and now has a wealth of experience in Zulu beading and complicated stitches. She teaches other women in the community how to bead, supports them with their work and is grateful to have learnt beading from her mom as it has taught her how to think open-mindedly and be creative.

 

For Isu, Thokozani mainly focuses on sunglass strands, which involves a classic and well known Kwa-Zulu-Natal stitch, including linked 'Daisies'.
